The city has announced that Council’s public hearing on rezoning the Downtown Eastside will be on Tuesday, December 9th at 6pm.

One of the ways that we can show up together and make sure our voices are heard is to speak at this public hearing! You can go in-person or call from the comfort of… wherever you find comfort.

It’s not something that most of us go out of our way to do, so it totally makes sense to feel nervous and uncertain. But we’re here to help!
